Chelan Timeshare
On the eastern front of the Cascade Range and only a three-hour drive from Seattle is one of the Pacific Northwest's best kept secrets. The town of Chelan is home to Lake Chelan, the largest natural lake in the state and one of the most beautiful vacation destinations in the country. A perfect place for a Chelan timeshare getaway.
Surrounded by pine trees, incredible rock formations, and lots of wildlife, this is a vacationer's dream. Within minutes of the center of the incorporated town of Chelan are first-class vacation resorts and privately-owned lodgings. The best deal on vacation accommodation is with a Chelan timeshare. Weekend or week-long timeshare rentals or purchase opportunities await, and the type of lodgings range from deluxe condo suites to rustic yet fully-furnished cabins.
Accommodations
Chelan is full of hotels, motels, hostel-style cabins, and rental properties. Several property management companies operate first-class cabins and villas all over the Chelan Valley. Most of these lodgings include all furnishings, linens, and kitchen appliances. Larger hotels with timeshare availability are located in and around the town.
Major Attractions
With the towering, snow-capped peaks to the north, this destination is popular with boaters, waterskiers, and anyone who just loves to soak up the summer sun and breathe fresh air. There are plenty of boat launches and marinas on the south shore of the lake. Fishing season runs from spring until mid-summer.
The hiking opportunities are almost endless. Plenty of short trails take hikers to vistas that offer spectacular photo opportunities of the lake and surrounding hills. For the more adventurous, there's a road leading partway up toward the north end of the lake, and here is where the serious hiker takes a trail past the historic Stehekin village and on to the heart of the North Cascades National Park.
Activities
The town of Chelan bustles with nighttime activity during the summer. Several festivals take place here during June, July, and August. The Chelan Riverwalk Park covers 12 acres along the Chelan River and is full of picnic areas and playfields. The Evening Farmer's Market has everything from the usual tomatoes, squashes, and plums to the unusual goat cheese, homemade hummus, and lavender blooms. For those who visit in winter, there's the annual Winterfest, an event that includes wine tastings, bobsled races, cross-country ski races, and ice sculpturing.
