Come to Thousand Trails Virginia Landing and soak up the serenity. Known for its scenic locale, sea breezes and tranquil ambiance, this RV campground provides easy access to Upshur Bay and the inlet waterways that lead to the Atlantic Ocean on the outer peninsula of Virginia. Here, among the wind-swept pines, you can swim, fish, hike, or enjoy doing nothing at all.
Virginia Landing is part of the Thousand Trails network of campgrounds, which includes more than 80 locations in twenty-two states across the U.S., as well as British Columbia. Your membership as a Thousand Trails resale owner will entitle you to vacation at discounted rates in any of these safe, well-maintained, and amenity-loaded destinations. A Thousand Trails Camping Pass is your ticket to camping, cabin rentals, and countless happy hours in the great outdoors.
This Thousand Trails campground may be everyone’s favorite spot for RV and travel trailer camping in Virginia, but it’s also an ideal destination for campers who prefer cabin rentals. Deluxe cabins are available to sleep parties of up to six adults. These rustic cabins have a master bedroom with queen bed and a second bedroom with both a queen bed and bunk beds. Equipped with linens, cookware, and dishes, deluxe cabins have a galley kitchen with full size appliances, a gas barbeque grill, television with satellite service, microwave, two bathrooms, an enclosed porch, and a picnic table.
Standard cabins, designed for parties of four, have these same amenities with only one bathroom and a screened porch instead of an enclosed, sunroom-style porch. With two queen beds and a futon, these cabins are available in a pet-friendly or a no-pets allowed option.
The Virginia Landing RV Campground has a limited number of sites with water, electric, and sewer, while most sites offer water and electric only. Onsite facilities include a dump station, hot showers and restrooms, a self-service laundry, and a club house. Amenities feature a swimming pool, playground, WiFi, mini golf, billiards and a game room, a banquet hall, volleyball, and shuffleboard.
All roads within the campground are paved, and sites are available for recreational vehicles, motor homes, travel trailers, campers, and pop-up campers. Tent camping is limited.
