As close to the water as you can get at Laguna Beach, California, the charming Laguna Surf Resort looks down on the sea from its bluff-side setting. Stretching out in front of the resort is over a mile of beach that Laguna Surf owners and guests can access from the winding stairway, just outside the resort.
Although Laguna Surf resales and rentals may occasionally be offered through the resort’s owners association, vacationers can expect to find the most competitive prices by renting or buying from motivated individual owners in the resale marketplace.
Situated approximately midway between Los Angeles and San Diego, the community of Laguna Beach is widely known for its dramatic bluffs along the Pacific Ocean and its seven-plus miles of coastline. With a thriving arts community, Laguna Beach has more than 100 galleries, the Laguna Playhouse (a 90-year old community theater), numerous summer arts festivals, and the Laguna Art Museum, one of the oldest art museums in the state, featuring an acclaimed and comprehensive collection of California art.
With twenty-five timeshare condos, all floor plans at this purpose-built timeshare resort are one-bedroom plans with sleek décor and well-utilized space. The condos have one private bedroom with a queen bed, a full kitchen including microwave and dishwasher, a living and dining area with a gas fireplace, two televisions, a DVD player, beach towels, and a private balcony with barbeque grills and patio furniture. Many units have two full bathrooms and a murphy bed.
The resort allots one parking space per unit, however, additional parking is available for rent. Although this resort is a beach timeshare, it is located in a busy area and guests may hear sounds associated with traffic or the city, depending on the specific location of their condo. Also, not all units at Laguna Surf Resort have ocean views.
One of the many benefits of the resort’s location is that the property is within easy walking distance of restaurants, art galleries, and boutiques. Owners at this California resort also enjoy the property’s observation deck and its rooftop sundeck with hot tub.
Note to vacationers: this California vacation ownership resort collects at Transient Occupancy Tax upon check-in.
