Hilton Head Island, South Carolina has long been a favorite vacation spot for families, couples, and anyone who appreciates an exceptional beach destination, rich in natural beauty and easy access to quality golf courses. The Coral Reef Resort property is a unique resort located within Shipyard Plantation.
The Coral Reef Resort, and its sister property the Port O'Call, are located behind the gates of the scenic and highly secure community of Shipyard Plantation. Tucked among the pines and oaks, Coral Reef timeshare villas feel distinctly like a private residence condominium community. When you buy Coral Reef timeshare, you are truly buying your very own, “place at the beach.”
Coral Reef Resort offers condo-style timeshares with both 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom floor plans. All condos include a full kitchen, dining area, a private washer and dryer, multiple televisions, a spacious living area, and wireless internet access.
Although units vary, most Coral Reef timeshare condos include a two-story layout, one or more balconies or patios, private baths off at least two of the bedrooms, and the complimentary use of two bicycles. With miles of paths throughout the resort, you’ll have a perfect place to enjoy those bikes or explore the community walking or rollerblading the network of trails.
On property, you can also enjoy a heated pool, hot tub, sauna, gas grills, and picnic area. Organized activity programs are available for children and adults at the resort.
When you buy Coral Reef Resort timeshare, you have access to the resort’s golf and tennis packages. One round of golf per day (at affiliated courses on Hilton Head Island) for four people, excluding cart fees, is included with your week. This owner amenity provides you daily golf greens fees at Shipyard and/or Port Royal golf courses. You can also play one hour of tennis for four people each day at Van Der Meer Shipyard or Port Royal Racquet Club. (Location of courses and courts depends on unit rented or owned, and time of play is based upon availability).
Avid golfers will appreciate the many outstanding golf courses in the Hilton Head area, including Harbour Town Golf Links at Sea Pines, Old South Golf Links, Hilton Head National Golf Club, the Robert Trent Jones Course at Palmetto Dunes, and dozens more public and private courses that have earned Hilton Head Island a Top 10 Golf Destination ranking from Golf Digest Magazine. With more than twenty area golf courses, and an annual PGA Tour event, Hilton Head Island makes it very clear that “golf is spoken here.”
Conceptualized and developed in the 1950s, as a master planned community, Shipyard Plantation was created to combine residential and resort accommodations while ensuring that the aesthetics and environmental integrity of Hilton Head Island would always be protected.
Shipyard Plantation was the second planned residential and resort community developed on Hilton Head Island, with the first being the famous Sea Pines community. The Shipyard Plantation community includes private residences, timeshare resorts (including the Coral Reef Resort), hotel accommodations, a limited number of commercial interests, a health care center, twenty tennis courts, and twenty-seven holes of golf. Just outside the community’s edge, on Highway 278 and Pope Avenue, is easy access to the convenience of restaurants, stores, banks, a post office, and movie theaters.
