Wyndham Majestic Sun

Review:
The Wyndham Majestic Sun is a huge resort. And you will need the map. But that is because there is a ton to do there, not including the beaches. The pool is huge and didn’t ever really get too packed full of people. The staff was super nice and helpful when it came to telling you what was in the area as well as what was going on around the resort. They had a few activities such as a muffins and mimosa’s event and a wine and cheese tasting as well. The unit was spacious and well above expectation. We had a larger suite and there was a large group of us but we all had our own space and could hang out without being on top of each other.

Some activities around the are included golfing, the beach, and some water sports. Across the road at the private beach they had some skidoos as well as some inflatable slides and floats that you could hang out on for a small fee. We really enjoyed the floats. Some of the guys in the room next to ours really loved the golf course, and it looked beautiful when we drove by it. A few places you need to try include the Emerald Coast Winery and Bad A** Coffee had some of the best coffee and treats and was right down the road from the resort.

Our unit was a two-bedroom lock off unit which really allowed for us to have our own space and spread out. The kitchen had a breakfast bar as well as a table so we used that a lot for hanging out and relaxing. We ate in a few nights when we didn’t want to go out, but when we did go out we really enjoyed the Whales Tail restaurant and Pampano Joe’s. The resort seemed to be very busy but wasn’t overly loud or crowded when you wanted to use any of the amenities. The fitness room was one that we used a few times and there was plenty of equipment and never a line or anything so that was nice. The beach across the street was awesome, and the sugar sand didn’t burn your feet so that was great. We spent a lot of time over there and the water is clear blue so you can see the bottom. The beach was private access so it was never too crowded and you could enjoy reading a good book or taking a nap. The property its self is really quite large so for that reason I suggest you call ahead and ask which building you will be staying in as well as where you should part as you don’t want to have to drag your suitcase around. Once you are checked in though you will never want to leave. Everyone is very nice and goes out of their way to make sure that your stay will be perfect and that you will want to come back year after year.

This resort is idea for family with children. We love the heated indoor/outdoor pool and full outdoor pool. Also the hot tub spas. It is located across Scenic Gulf Drive. Just across the street from sugar white sand beaches. You are near one of the nation’s largest designer outlet center, and Silver Sands Premium Outlets,. Also luxury shopping at the Grand Boulevard is just a couple of miles down the road. Great resort for children or adults.
