By the sea… by the sea… by the beautiful seaside is the WorldMark Seaside resort. Located in Seaside, Oregon, this area is dramatic and rugged; you could even say stunning with its Pacific Coastline beauty. Yet, for all the natural and rustic appeal the area offers, when you buy vacation ownership at the WorldMark Seaside, you clearly won’t be roughing it. Instead, you’ll enjoy the luxury of a resort property with first floor shopping, a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, convenient covered parking, and private access to a unique stretch of smooth and sandy beach.
The Promenade (or as locals say, the Prom) is a mile and a half of oceanfront shore, ideal for walking, biking, or jogging. Developed in the 1920s, this landmark has a famous automobile turnaround and offers vistas of the ocean, the grassy dunes, and the distinctive rainforest-covered Tillamook Head, a 1000-foot high rocky cape island that is home to the Ecola State Park.
And although the great outdoors doesn’t get much greater than it is at Seaside, the area is also home to three distinctive shopping districts. You’ll want to explore the Seaside Carousel Mall, the historic Gilbert District east of the Necanicum River, and the outlet shops of the Broadway and Holladay Drive area.
Seaside is also home to dozens of great restaurants, the Seaside Aquarium and the Seaside Museum, perfect for brushing up on your knowledge of the historic Lewis and Clark Expedition.
Tee Time at Beach During Your WorldMark Seaside Vacation
For golfing in windy Seaside, remember this tip: swing easy when it’s breezy. Nearby the WorldMark Seaside resort, you can play Seaside Golf Club, a scenic 9- hole executive course located along the Necanicum River or try Gearhart Golf Links, the oldest course in Oregon. Gearhart Golf Links, built in 1892, is an 18-hole, true Scottish links style course.
Historic lore says that in 1891, before the construction of any formal golf courses west of the Mississippi River, a few homesick Scotsmen carved three rough golf holes out of the land that “links to the sea” and reminded them of the great Scottish courses such as St. Andrews. In 2013, this historic course was lovingly restored to a look that honors its links heritage.

Review:
November is a great time in seaside. Beach walks on the promenade are a mix of amazing waves on a stormy day or awesome unwise on a clear winters day. If the weather is too stormy you are located in the center of all the shops plus right on the beach and can enjoy the ocean from your view from your room. This is my favorite escape year round.
