Nestled in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, the Bluegreen Shenandoah Crossing resort is ready and waiting for you to enjoy your next family vacation. With more than 1000 acres of wilderness to explore, and a 60-acre fishing lake, this retreat in the woodlands is a perfect place for getting in plenty of hiking, biking, horseback riding, and of course, sport fishing.
Welcome to your cabin in the woods, where you won’t sacrifice any of the comforts of home. Designed as freestanding, woodland cabins, the timeshare resales and rentals at Shenandoah Crossing are available in multiple floor plans, including a two-bedroom, one-bath cottage, a two-bedroom, two-bath cottage, and a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath floor plan. Other options are one-, two-, and three-bedroom townhomes with either one, two, or three private bathrooms. All timeshare layouts are designed for privacy, and include decks or porches, well-equipped kitchens, satellite or cable television, and heating and air conditioning.
On-site amenities to make your vacation even better are a self-service laundry, a general store, a marina and bait shop, and a tavern and restaurant. And to ensure that every member of your family has the best Bluegreen timeshare vacation possible, Shenandoah Crossing has a fitness center, an activities room, an amphitheater, an equestrian center and trails, mini-golf, a recreational area, paths to hike or bike, and an oversized pool with hot tub.
“Glamping” (glamorous camping) is the best way to describe yurt camping at this Bluegreen vacation ownership resort. Built on raised platforms, the circular yurts have either one or two bedrooms, a full bath with shower, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a living and dining area with television. Grills and outside seating are available on an adjacent deck.
Or bring your own camper, travel trailer, tent, or recreational vehicle (RV) for an upscale camping experience. For Bluegreen vacation owners and guests, campsites include expected amenities, like bathhouses and electrical and water hookups, along with unexpected delights such as private hot tubs, patio areas, fire pits, wooden outdoor furniture, and exceptional landscaping to maximize privacy. All sites have paved parking, and many offer pull-through access.
Review:
We recently visited this resort and were so glad we did. Virginia is a beautiful state and visiting this specific resort made it worthwhile. From farm animals to fishing rivers and taverns, you feel like a cowboy in his zone. We stayed at a log cabin which made me want to buy one for everyday living. There are so many vineyards close by, not to mention Thomas Jefferson house and national parks like the famous skyline drive. We truly enjoyed this trip and got a dose of relaxation form the calmness of the environment and locals who actually stop and smell the roses.
