Best Timeshares in Orlando
Talk about a loaded statement! How do you sort through the best timeshares in Orlando when Orlando is the timeshare capital of the world? So many choices, but we’ll do our best to help you prioritize your options.
As you are probably well aware, Orlando is the theme park mecca of the globe and the home of the most famous mouse around, Mickey Mouse. Disney World has dominated the central Florida landscape since it opened in 1971, and the entire tourism industry changed forever. So when looking at the best timeshares in Orlando, the first thing you need to decide is how close you want to be to the Disney parks and how you plan to access those parks. Most resorts offer shuttle service to Disney, but the more frequent you want to visit, the closer you should be.
Disney Timeshares, But More
If you absolutely have to stay in a Disney property, some of the best timeshares in Orlando are at Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort and the timeshares at the Polynesian Villas. Both are on the monorail line and closest to the Magic Kingdom. They are also some of the newest options in the Disney inventory.
Disney timeshares obviously dominate the accommodation options, but there are some other great choices that you’ll find. One of which is Wyndham Bonnet Creek, located near Disney Springs but close to just about everything. One of the top resorts on Condé Nast’s Readers’ Choice Awards list, it’s as close to Disney property as you can get, with great facilities and modern amenities. Plus, you’ll have easy access to Universal Studios and SeaWorld.
There are some fabulous timeshare resorts that give you the retreat you need while remaining within easy distance of the theme parks. Orange Lake Resort is one of those places. The flagship of the Holiday Inn Club Vacations network of resorts, the Orange Lake complex sits on 1,450 acres near Animal Kingdom and hosts four villages that offer different styles of accommodation but the same amazing resort experience. Multiple swimming pools, bars, restaurants and golf courses make for a great time.
Hilton and Marriott Destinations
Hilton has several timeshares in the region, but Hilton Parc Soleil combines excellent swimming and recreational options with onsite bar and restaurant choices along with multi-room accommodations. Plus, it is on the Disney side of I-4, about halfway between Disney and Universal Studios and close to the Premium Outlets.
A Hilton timeshare even closer to those Outlets yet a bit further from the crowded Parks is Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Tuscany Village. With Tuscan-themed architecture and great amenities, you’re close to the golf, restaurants and shopping of the region, yet feel like you are in the midst of a special, relaxing retreat.
Marriott timeshare resorts abound in Orlando, but one that combines the relaxation of a nature retreat with the modern facilities you need is Marriott's Cypress Harbour resort. Here, you are right on a lake, but with the swimming pools, sports courts, spa, fitness and dining options you need in a quality resort. You’re also close to the famed shopping and restaurants of International Drive and just down the road from SeaWorld.
Wherever you choose to stay in Orlando, you’ll have an exceptional vacation in some of the best timeshare resorts in the country.
