This course is great for seniors and beginners because there are only a few hazards. The terrain is flat, however, the course is well bunkered on all holes, except two. The fairways are forgiving at times, but typically narrow. Water hazards (five ponds and six canals) come into play on all holes, but three. The signature hole is #9, a 575-yard, par 5, requiring three long shots to reach this green in regulation.
Blue lakes and water features, including marshy wetlands filled with aquatic plants, strategically placed bunkers and smaller, well protected greens are not the only challenges awaiting the golfer.
