Living areas include flat-panel TVs, cable, and Bose DVD home entertainment systems, a sofa bed, banquette dining, and a fully equipped kitchen. Typically, these villas are single-level floor plans, with two private, furnished balconies, an in-unit washer and dryer, and central air conditioning.
US citizens can travel to St. John with only a US government issued ID (such as a state driver license). No passport is required because as part of the US Virgin Islands, St. John is a US territory. If you make the trip without your passport, you can travel about St. John freely however, you will not be able to take side trips into the British Virgin Islands.
The US dollar is the currency standard for St. John and voltage is standard 120, just as it is in the United States. Also, your US driver license is accepted in St. John, however islanders do drive on the left hand side of the road.
Travel to St. John typically means flying into the Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas. From there, you can reach St. John by way of a public ferry service or take the private Westin ferry. Via the Westin ferry, the trip takes approximately 45 minutes one-way, and transports you directly to the resort.
Fees apply whether you take the public service or enjoy the personalized service that is included when you use the Westin private ferry. Westin St. John guests who wish to utilize the Westin ferry, should email the Westin concierge with their flight information in order to coordinate their transportation.
