The US dollar is the currency standard for St. John and voltage is standard 120, just as it is in the United States. Also, your US driver license is accepted in St. John, however islanders do drive on the left hand side of the road.

Travel to St. John typically means flying into the Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas. From there, you can reach St. John by way of a public ferry service or take the private Westin ferry.
